Event Sponsorship

Built in 1926 as one of America’s most elaborate movie palaces, the Tampa Theatre is on the National Register of Historic Places, a Tampa City Landmark and a member of the League of Historic American Theatres.

Community support and contributions are critical to the Theatre’s continued success and viability. In spite of its successes, the Theatre only earns about 60% of its annual operating budget through earned income. Contributions to the Tampa Theatre Foundation from individuals, companies and foundations help to make up difference and keep the Theatre accessible and affordable for everyone.

As a sponsor of the 2013 Winefest event, your cash or in-kind donation will benefit the Tampa Theatre’s artistic and educational programs as well as its ongoing restoration.
